This is my little corner of the web where I can share thoughts on things that interest me, which usually involves designing, blogging and learning new techniques using XHTML and CSS.
Css Rollovers
If you're like me, i've always had a difficult time finding the right standard compliant rollovers for css based images. Alot of the techniques involve multiple non-preloading images, alot of code, or don't work on many browsers. These two seem to work well.
Accessible Image-Tab Rollovers - I wanted to continue to use a simple unordered list for the navigation in the markup. Much has already been said about using lists for navigation, here and elsewhere. They’re compact, lightweight and accessible to text browsers, screenreaders, PDAs, phones, etc.

Light Weight Low Tech CSS Tabs - An example of light weight tabs by combining the Sliding Doors method with the Mountaintop corners idea.

Thanks to this post, where you'll find lots of other goodies

Finally up and running again
All ready for the new year! After the crash resulting from a certain hosting companies server - and some outstanding backup practices (don't rely on your host.) I decided to start fresh, with a new domain & design. The search box doesn't work yet, but once there are more posts i'll get around to it.
